Overview
This service provides support for resolving issues related to Hamilton accounts and access to campus systems, including Blackboard, My Hamilton, Google Workspace, Workday, and other college services. We can assist with the following:
Access and Login Problems
- Password resets and login issues
- Locked or suspended accounts (including Google)
Account Creation and Ownership
- Creating new Hamilton accounts
- Claiming accounts
- Transferring and delegating sponsored accounts
Account Maintenance and Recovery
- Renewing or extending eligible accounts
- Recovering recently deleted accounts (when possible)
Account Information Updates
- Updating alternate (recovery) email addresses
If you are met with an incorrect username or password error when signing in, please try to reset your password before submitting a request.
Ticket Information
Who may request this service?
This service may be requested by students, faculty, staff, retirees, parents, alumni, and affiliated guests of Hamilton college.
What information should be included in the ticket?
- Account or system affected (e.g. Blackboard, Google, My Hamilton)
- Detailed description: a clear explanation of the problem
- Relevant screenshots: if the system responds to login with any error codes or messages
Additional Assistance
- If you need help claiming a new account, please review the available Knowledge Base resources linked in the sidebar first.
- For student organization account transfers, you must be listed as the active president in Presence before requesting a transfer. If your organization’s roster needs to be updated, please contact involve@hamilton.edu.
