Overview

Web Browser Support provides assistance with browser-related issues to ensure smooth and efficient online browsing. Google Chrome is the supported browser on campus; however, we understand users may choose to use other browsers. Our team is happy to provide best-effort troubleshooting for a variety of browser issues. This service aims to resolve common problems like pages not loading, slow performance, browser crashes, and out-of-memory errors.

Before requesting assistance, we recommend clearing your cache and cookies for all time, as this is a common fix for resolving many browser issues.

Ticket Information

Who may request this service?

This service may be requested by Hamilton faculty, staff, and students.

What information should be included in the ticket?

  • Browser details: the browser causing issues (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) as well as the browser version, if possible
  • Detailed description: provide information about the problem, including when the issue began and any steps you have taken in an attempt to resolve it
  • Relevant screenshots: information about issues or any error messages received
