This article shows you how to clear your web browser's cache and cookies. Doing this can often resolve issues caused by temporary server problems and outdated data that may affect how pages load in your browser.
Instructions
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Privacy and security.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Choose Time range (e.g., "All time").
- Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the three lines in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
- Click Clear Data.
- Check both options: Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
- Click Clear.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge.
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
- Select Time range.
- Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear now.
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari.
- Click Safari in the top menu bar.
- Select Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data.
- Click Remove All > Remove Now.
