This article walks through simple ways to discover the wireless MAC address of a device for troubleshooting purposes.
Instructions
Due to the large variety of Android devices available and variance between software and interfaces, there may be differences between the instructions below and the procedure for a specific device. If these instructions do not work, consult the manufacturer’s own documentation.

Pull down the notification bar from the top and tap the gear-shaped Settings button.

Scroll down to About device (About phone) > Status (Hardware Information). The device’s MAC address will appear next to Wi-Fi MAC address.

Open Settings and go to General.

Click About.

Scroll down to the Wi-Fi Address field. This is the IOS devices MAC address.

While holding down the Option key on your keyboard, click the Wi-Fi icon () in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

The wireless MAC is listed in the menu, under Address:

Open Settings by pressing + i on the keyboard.

Navigate to Network & Internet.

Click Wi-fi in the sidebar, then click Hardware properties.

The MAC address is listed under Physical address (MAC).
