Overview

This service offers incoming employees and supervisors a convenient way to request devices and schedule technology setup onboarding appointments. Computing Services staff will prepare new employees with essential technology resources, including equipment setup, account claims and sign-in, and software installation. New hires will meet a Help Desk staff member at our location in Burke Library, where they will have the opportunity to address any technology issues they have or ask any questions of our trained technicians.

Who may request this service?

This service is available to supervisors or new employees at Hamilton.

What information should be included in the ticket?

Please have the following information ready:

  • New employee contact information: new employee's full name and non-Hamilton email address
  • Supervisor contact information: full name of supervisor
  • Device specification: choice of operating system and model, depending on what we can offer
  • Starting datewhen the new employee begins work
  • Specialized software: software employee needs not included in our standard software deployment
