Overview

This service involves coordinating the return of a departing employee's barcoded machine. The departing employee or supervisor can choose to bring their machine to the Burke Library Help Desk or to have their machine picked up by a technician.

Ticket Information

Who may request this service?

This service may be requested by departing Hamilton employees with a barcoded computing device or their supervisors.

What information should be included in the ticket?

  • Employee name: the first and last name of the responsible party for the returned device
  • Barcode: the last 5 digits of the barcode on the device
  • Location & time: the building, room number, and appropriate time if a pickup is required
