Google Maps Error: "We are sorry, but you do not have access to Google Maps."

This article explains that users who do not opt in to access additional Google Services through their Hamilton Google Workspace account may encounter error messages related to services like Maps, YouTube, and more.

Members of the Hamilton College community automatically have access to these core services:

• Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts, Keep

A curated group of additional Google services are available on an "opt in" basis.  These services currently include:

• Blogger, Maps, Photos, YouTube

 Issue

Users are unable to access certain Google Services like Maps, YouTube, etc via their Hamilton Google Workspace account.

 Resolution

User needs to opt-in to use any Google service that is not part of core services like Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc
